Dan Williams is the head Men’s Rodeo Team coach at Lassen College and a professional rodeo cowboy. He has been roping, riding, and rodeoing pretty much his whole life. As a high school student he qualified for the NHSRA Finals 3 times, and was the CHSRA Rookie of the Year All-Around Cowboy and calf roping and team roping champion. He continued his rodeo career in college, qualifying for the CNFR in team roping and winning reserve champion header as a member of the Chico State College Men’s Rodeo Team. He has been a member of the CCPRA since 1998 and a member of the PRCA since 2002. He has qualified for the CCPRA Finals ten times, and served as the team roping director and timed event director. In the PRCA he was the California Circuit Rookie of the Year and has twice qualified for the California Circuit Finals. He graduated from Chico State with a degree in construction management and in his spare time you’re sure to find him on a horse in the practice arena.
