Bio

Téa Greene, from Ukiah, California, grew up on her family’s ranch where learned to ride horses. She competes in breakaway roping, barrel racing, and goat tying. The 5-10 sophomore only began her rodeo career as a sophomore at Ukiah High School, and while becoming a member of CHSRA District 2.

Téa qualified for the CHSRA State finals as a junior (barrel racing) and as a senior (barrel racing and breakaway roping). In her junior and senior years, Téa also claimed average titles at the Interdistrict Shootout Rodeo in the breakaway roping and barrel racing along with qualifying for the CHSRA Challenge of Champions Rodeo in the barrel racing where she placed third in the average both years.

She is a member of the CCPRA and has qualified for the finals all three years of her membership in the barrel racing. In her freshman year of college rodeo at Lassen, she made an appearance in the short round of the barrel race at every rodeo held in the spring, won the Fresno State rodeo barrel racing average and placed herself number six in the year-end standings for the NIRA West Coast Region.
