Cougars show progress despite loss to Feather River

On Saturday, March 25, the Lassen Cougars took on Feather River College in Quincy, CA. Lassen dropped the contest 0-5 but saw some excellent match-ups in our #1, #2, and #5 doubles teams. Cayton White and Hannah McLauchlin pushed set one of the day to 21-19, and played some of their best volleyball yet. Olivia Nord and Taysha Ortega saw growth from set one to set two, gaining a 4-point improvement in set two. Sylus Moore and Katelyn Sanchez had their first pairing together and saw improvement throughout the day.  “Each match we get to play in the sand, we continue to get better and figure out how to move in the sand. We are looking forward to some better weather so we can start training outside to better prepare for matches. The girls are working hard to get better, and I appreciate the work they are putting in.” said Coach Morris.
