Lassen College baseball continued to be recognized across the Golden Valley Conference postseason awards as five additional Cougars earned Second Team All-Conference honors following the 2026 season.
Freshman infielder Mason Montoya earned recognition after hitting .311 with 38 hits, 29 RBIs, and 26 stolen bases during his first collegiate season. Montoya provided versatility for the Cougars throughout the year while contributing both offensively and defensively in key conference games.
On the mound, left-hander Trent Bailey and right-hander Ben Lukens were both honored after strong seasons in the Cougar pitching staff. Bailey finished with a 3.00 ERA and struck out 36 batters in 42 innings pitched while appearing in 19 games. Lukens added four wins and 47 strikeouts across 56.2 innings, giving Lassen valuable depth throughout conference play.
Sophomore first baseman Jackson Rosenthal also earned second team honors after batting .342 with 50 hits, 41 RBIs, and a .486 slugging percentage. Rosenthal was one of the most productive middle-of-the-order bats for the Cougars while also playing flawless defense at first base with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
Freshman outfielder Sam Moore rounded out the Cougar selections after hitting .347 with 11 doubles, five home runs, and 32 RBIs in just 33 games played.
