Two More Cougars Earn Honorable Mention Recognition

Lassen College baseball continued to stack postseason honors as sophomore pitcher Noah Kimura and sophomore catcher Hayden Pietras were both named Golden Valley Conference Honorable Mention selections following the 2026 season.

Kimura played an important role for the Cougar pitching staff throughout the year, providing valuable innings in both conference and non-conference play. The sophomore right-hander consistently gave Lassen quality depth on the mound and helped stabilize the staff during key stretches of the season.

Behind the plate, Hayden Pietras earned honorable mention recognition after serving as one of the team’s leaders defensively while handling the Cougar pitching staff throughout the season. Pietras brought toughness, leadership, and experience to the lineup while helping guide one of the top teams in the Golden Valley Conference.

The additional honors pushed Lassen College baseball to 14 total postseason conference recognitions, highlighting the depth, experience, and balance that fueled another successful Cougar season and postseason appearance.
