Caden Fowler Named GVC Freshman Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-Conference
Lassen College freshman Caden Fowler earned two of the Golden Valley Conference’s top honors following an outstanding debut season, being named GVC Freshman Pitcher of the Year while also earning First Team All-Conference recognition as a two-way player.
The 6-foot-5 freshman from Reno, Nevada quickly became one of the most impactful newcomers in the conference, making major contributions both on the mound and at the plate for the Cougars. Fowler emerged as one of Lassen’s top arms throughout conference play, using his power fastball and competitiveness to consistently challenge opposing lineups.
Offensively, Fowler also became a key part of the Cougar lineup as a two-way player, providing production in the middle of the order while showcasing his versatility and athleticism. His ability to impact games in multiple ways made him one of the most unique players in the conference and a difficult matchup for opponents all season long.
