Turnovers Prove Costly for Cougars
With a similar scoreline in both halves, Hartnell Collete outmatched the Cougars on the road, shutting them out 4-0.
The opening goal came as a result of a misplaced pass that was finished at the other end. A 2-0 lead separated the two teams for nearly 60 minutes until another costly turnover led to the Panther's third goal.
A poor clearance in the final minutes of the game resulted in Hartnell's fourth and final goal.
"This game, along with the others, proved how important it is to minimize our turnovers with good decision making, accuracy and adequate speed of play," said Coach Imaan Kerchgani. "The men's team will now have a bit of time to recover, train and improve before their next match against the formidable Skyline College."
