LCC Men's Soccer drops Home Contest

Last week, the Lassen College Men's soccer team hosted the College of the Siskiyous Eagles (COS) in a Golden Valley Conference match-up. The game was scoreless for the first 20 minutes until the Eagles took advantage of a Cougar defensive miscue to take a 1-0 lead.

With the first half coming to a close, LCC's Shaun Duncan scored a goal on a beautiful head shot on an assist from Josh Duncan to tie the game. The Eagles scored the winning goal on a free kick at the 80-minute mark for a 2-1 victory. COS improve to 2-9-2 overall and 1-5-1 in the GVC. While the Cougars dropped to 0-6-1 in conference play.

"We dominated the game almost in its entirety, but were just unable to put the ball in the goal," said Cougar Head Coach Juan Paolo.
