Cougars Close Season Against Siskiyous

The Lassen College women’s basketball team wrapped up conference play on February 20, falling to Siskiyous 84-35. The Eagles used a strong first quarter to build early momentum and extended the lead in the third, creating separation in the second half.

Kyleigh Flux and Miliani Crosno led the Cougars with 12 points apiece. Flux added nine rebounds, while Crosno contributed six boards. Claudia Garcia-Juarez chipped in six points and four rebounds, and Leah Ragan pulled down five rebounds. Lassen battled throughout but struggled to find offensive rhythm, shooting 23.6% from the field and 5-of-32 from three-point range.

Siskiyous shot 49.3% from the floor and knocked down 13 three-pointers, with Alexes Collier scoring 26 points and Alayja Oliver adding 18. Despite the final result, the Cougars continued to compete and gain valuable experience as they closed out the 2025-26 campaign.
