Lassen Falls Short in Five-Set Thriller Against Siskiyous

On October 16, 2024, Lassen College's volleyball team fought a tough battle at Siskiyous but ultimately fell short in a five-set match, 2-3. The sets were 19-25, 25-23, 28-30, 25-12, and 18-20. Despite winning the second and fourth sets convincingly, Lassen couldn't close out the match, losing a hard-fought fifth set by just two points.

EmmaJay Larsen was a standout for Lassen, contributing 24 points with 24 kills, while Olive Chandler added 12 points and 11 kills. Arden Orten also had a strong performance, registering 12 points, including 2 assists and 1 block. On the other side, Siskiyous' Isabella Colombo led the offense with 7 kills and 8 total points, while Josie Cole added 13 points for her team. Despite a solid performance by Lassen's attackers, a tough first and fifth set ultimately handed Siskiyous the victory.
