Lucy Platz Reaches 1,000 Career Assists for Lassen Volleyball

Lassen College setter Lucy Platz etched her name into the program’s history books this season by recording her 1,000th career assist, becoming one of the few Cougars to ever reach the milestone.

The sophomore from [Hometown, if known] hit the mark during a home match late in the regular season, a moment met with loud cheers from teammates and fans alike. Platz has been the steady hand behind Lassen’s offense for the past two years, known for her precise setting, calm leadership, and court awareness.

"Lucy has been the engine of our offense since she stepped on campus," said Head Coach Amy Morris. "Reaching 1,000 assists is a testament to her consistency, work ethic, and the trust she’s built with her hitters."
