Alondra Juarez Finishes Third in State
Lassen College women’s wrestler Alondra Juarez made program history at the 3C2A State Championships, finishing third in the state and becoming one of the first women’s wrestling All-Americans in Lassen College history.
Competing in one of the toughest brackets in the tournament, Juarez battled her way onto the podium through grit, toughness, and consistency. Her third-place finish capped off an outstanding season that included multiple tournament championships and podium finishes throughout the year, establishing her as one of the top wrestlers in California community college wrestling.
Juarez consistently represented the Cougar program at a high level all season long, including first-place finishes at the Wolverine Open and Modesto Junior College Open, along with a runner-up finish at the Santa Rosa JC Invitational. Her ability to compete against elite competition week after week helped set the standard for the rapidly growing Lassen women’s wrestling program.
By earning All-American honors, Juarez etched her name into Cougar history and helped elevate the visibility of women’s wrestling at Lassen College. Her historic accomplishment marked a major milestone for the program and showcased the continued rise of Cougar athletics on the state level.
