Cougars Earn Podium Finishes at Santa Rosa JC Invitational

Lassen College women’s wrestling continued its successful season on March 15 at the Santa Rosa JC Invitational, with the Cougars once again producing multiple top finishes against strong statewide competition.

Alondra Juarez led the way for Lassen with a second-place finish, continuing her outstanding season and adding another impressive tournament performance to her résumé. Juarez battled through a difficult bracket and advanced all the way to the championship match, further establishing herself as one of the top wrestlers in Northern California.

Alejandra Loretto also earned a podium finish for the Cougars, placing third overall after another strong day on the mat. Loretto showed resilience throughout the tournament and continued to provide Lassen with consistent high-level performances during the postseason stretch.

The strong showing at the Santa Rosa JC Invitational highlighted the continued progress of Lassen College women’s wrestling and helped build momentum heading into the championship portion of the season.
