Women's Rodeo Starts Out Season with Top Finishes

The Lassen College Women's Rodeo team kicked off the season at home and showed the region that they are a force to be reckoned with in the community college rodeo circuit.

The women's team ended up ranked number one after the first rodeo and barely slipped to number two after the second rodeo of the weekend.
Lassen college freshman Hailey Finnegan started her college career off with a bang by making a clean sweep and winning all three rounds of the barrel racing event.
Lassen sophomore Jordan Gutsch also made her mark in the breakaway roping ending up second in that event for the weekend.
Lassen College sophomore Hailey Reidel also had a stellar weekend winning sixth in the breakaway roping and seventh in the goat tying event. Her combined efforts in the two events put her in third place for the all-around award.
Lassen sophomore Tea Greene also finished seventh in the barrel racing event.
Lassen freshman TeAnna Green placed sixth in the breakaway event and Lassen freshman Josey Collins placed eighth as well.
