Women's Rodeo Opens Spring Season at Fresno State

Lassen College Rodeo team made the trip to Fresno State University for the first college rodeo for the spring semester.

Sophomore Tea Greene and freshman Emily Machado, both turned in solid performances in the goat tying event and made it back to the short round. Machado placed fourth in the goat tying event, and Tea Greene ended up sixth place. Greene also placed 11th in the barrel racing event for the weekend.

"Our women's rodeo team had a tough weekend," said Head Coach Suzanne Williams. "We look forward to getting back to the practice pen before our next rodeo at West Hills College in two weeks."
